Aw shoot! I haven’t done a group cleanse in f-o-r-e-v-e-r. With that said, I have good news. I got really sick a few weeks ago (yes, I had the flu) and it reminded me how important my health is. To me, being healthy means doing things that prevent illness and dis-ease. So, to do the body good, I have decided to do a cleanse with friends. Let’s get back on track, because sometimes we fall off and although our society has instilled an “all or nothing” mentality, there is always time to get back on track. From my experience it’s that much easier when we have support. So, shall we? I have asked a few people to do the cleanse not only with me, but to provide a video testimony. Documentation and reflection is vital. I mean as we know in today’s pop culture, if it wasn’t posted on social media…it didn’t happen (yes, I am making a joke ;). I am actually using this cleanse as an opportunity to get crafty over here…tap into my artistic, creative self! Before I was really into health and wellness, my passion was art and it still is, I’ve just let it slipped away from me. Good thing, this cleanse isn’t just about food and exercise but also taking a good look at what brings us back into balance. It is a reset for the body and mind. For me, art is a big one that makes me feel whole. It’s a part of who I am and when I don’t do the creative things, I get depressed. Somethings feels a little bit off. It’s been too long since I created something fantastical. Although, I don’t have much experience editing videos, I have help from my friends! I sure am grateful for my community and the many ways they show up to support me.

Back to cleansing with friends…

For this cleanse, I am offering a group grocery store tour which I have only done one-on-one in the past. Who ready to cleanse with friends? We can have a grocery store party! We can also do things like food prep and trade meals. Yum! To me, making a good meal and sharing it with friends is an example of expressing one’s inner chef. It’s a culinary art 100%! Let’s create together and feel good about it in the process. For more deets click here <3
