Have you tried nutritional yeast? Because if you haven’t, you must. Tis bomb-alicious!! Some of the benefits aside from being cheesy, creamy and delicious it’s packed with folate, B vitamins, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, selenium, zinc and protein. Sprinkle it on salad, throw it in cashew cheese, rice or anything else! I make rice or quinoa almost every week. Enjoy!

Matty’s Rice

– 2 cups water or vegetable broth – 1 cup arborio rice
– 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
– 2 tbsp nutritional yeast

– 1 tbsp Braggs or coconut aminos – 1 tsp of salt

Bring water to a boil, add rice and reduce heat to low and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
Rice should be creamy, with no standing water remaining. Stir in extra virgin olive oil, amino acids, salt and nutritional yeast (for cheesy flavor). Let sit for 10 minutes.
