Yoga

My relationship with yoga started in 2000 and little did I know that it would have such a positive impact on my life. I have explored several different types of yoga and continues to do so with an open mind and heart. I started teaching in 2009 and have studied different styles including hatha, vinyasa, yin, restorative, and anusara. I recognize that yoga has powerful, therapeutic effects on the body and mind. Learning how to integrate these lessons into everyday life is the true medicine of this practice. My classes focus on breathwork, practicing the yoga (asana) safely, and meditation. All levels are welcomed and encouraged to join. Especially, if you are someone that believes this statement about yourself “I’m not flexible enough to do yoga”…you are the perfect candidate! If new to yoga, I do recommend a few one-on-one sessions which can be purchased in 5 or 10 class packages. We can meet at either my home, yours or somewhere in the middle!

Yoga-1

One-on-One Private classes are for people that…

  • are new to yoga
  • want to refine and deepen their practice
  • are easing back from injury
  • love hands-on adjustments

During the session, students will feel the therapeutic effects of yoga, learn how to develop a safe and strong practice. Each class is designed according to the student’s needs.

Corporate Classes

Corporate classes are held at the office during lunch or in the evening at the end of the work day. Some highlighted benefits of yoga in this environment are:

  • increases productivity, focus & happiness
  • reduces stress
  • helps build community

Employers can expect to spend less on health coverage and sick days by implementing this form of preventative care. Please contact me for further details and inquiries.

My current class schedule is limited so sure to check out special events for workshops and retreats. You can find me at Mesa Rim in Mira Mesa on the following days:
